What are Google penalties?
misrepresentation
We don't want users to be misled by ads. That's why we strive to be open, honest, and provide users with the information they need to make informed decisions. We don't allow advertising or targeting that is intended to mislead users by failing to provide relevant information about products, services, or businesses, or by providing misleading information.
missing information
The following are not allowed:
Not clearly disclosing the payment method and any costs the user will incur
For example: Price, shipping charges, and other billing information, interest rates, late payment penalties, or recurring subscription costs, using phone numbers with extensions that require additional fees.
Failing to provide legally clear contact information for financial services businesses, failing to provide required information for short-term loans or loan modifications.
To explain it with an example: We can explain it as a bank not showing its full address, or a credit company not stating the monthly interest rate or late payment penalty.
Failure to provide required information when collecting donations for charitable or political purposes
For example, we can give examples such as not showing the charity or tax-exempt number in donations to charities and not indicating whether donations collected for political purposes are tax-exempt.
Unavailable offers
Subjects that cannot be allowed are as follows;
Promising products, services or promotional offers that cannot be easily found on the landing page
For example: offering products that are out of stock, outdated, advertising them at an inaccurate price, including a call to action in the ad that is not easily accessible from the landing page.
Note: If you can't update your ads because your offers change, you should avoid creating ads for specific offers. For example, if you're creating an ad to promote a promotional sale that's only valid for one day, be sure to update or remove the ad the next day when the offer is no longer valid. If your site's inventory or prices change frequently, you can use dynamic search ads, which appear automatically based on the content of your website.
